Hi, I’m Naama

Naama Malkesman an expert child and family therapist in Brookline MA

Let’s Work Together

If you’re looking for support and practical tools to help your child thrive, I’d love to help.

I truly believe kids do best when they feel accepted and connected—and when parents feel heard, understood, and empowered along the way.

I work with children (ages 0–14) and their families from diverse cultural backgrounds, offering psychotherapy and consultation in a warm, honest, and non-judgmental way. I see parents and caregivers as essential partners in the process, and we work together every step of the way.

My goal is to help create meaningful, lasting change so your child can feel more confident and successful at home, at school, and beyond.

Reach out for a free consultation. Taking that first step can make a big difference—and you don’t have to do it alone.

My Approach:

My work with families is collaborative, practical, and grounded in both behavioral and relational principles. I help children and parents navigate life’s challenges, build confidence, and respond more effectively—so they can not just cope, but thrive.

As a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and a certified Parent-Child Interaction Therapist (PCIT International), I support families facing a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral concerns—including anxiety, OCD, ADHD, emotional regulation, and family stress.

Using evidence-based interventions such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) …I teach children and parents the tools they need to:

  • Build strong, meaningful relationships

  • Understand and express their emotions

  • Manage stress and adapt to change

  • Develop flexible thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Increase self-awareness, self-control, and self-esteem

  • Communicate effectively and handle conflict

I work alongside families to establish effective, actionable strategies to meet the demands of daily life—and to give your child both the roots to feel secure and the wings to grow.
